€500 for a good purpose: NEXOPART supports the Sister Petra charity in Oelde
During the 2025 Christmas party, the entire NEXOPART team collected €500 for the Sister Petra charity in Oelde. On December 17, 2025, the donation was officially handed over by NEXOPART Managing Director Frank General to Sister Soji and Hildegard Micheel-Meier, head of the aid organization in Oelde.
The Sister Petra Aid Organization is a small, predominantly volunteer-run association that supports a Christian religious community in India. Since 1974, the aid organization has been supporting the Dinasevanasabha (Servants of the Poor) and financing worthy projects through donations from private funds, associations and public funds. The donations are primarily used for the education and training of children.
A central goal is to combat the high illiteracy rate and discrimination against women. In addition, the order is committed to fighting hunger. Self-sufficiency in agriculture plays a key role in preventing malnutrition, especially among children. Each branch of the organisation ensures that the sisters and the affiliated homes for the needy are largely self-sufficient. The charity's tasks also include the construction and maintenance of schools and homes, as well as emergency aid in the event of disasters such as floods, droughts or cyclones.
The Sister Petra Aid Organization supports the sisters in India both financially and organizationally. The NEXOPART team is delighted to have supported the relief organization and the sisters with the donation.
